Dear Mr. Tesdahl:
I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my
heart for helping me pass the bar exam for the very first
time. Having
attended a law school in
Kentucky
(which is a commonwealth), I had to study many areas of
Washington
law for the very first time through your bar review
course. And,
of course, being out of state, I was extremely concerned
about the quality of a self-study course.
. . . Your
course not only met my needs but far exceeded them.
. . . During
the exam, I met many students who subscribed to [live
lecture bar review courses] and I was constantly amazed at
their lack of preparation and, specifically, their not
having taken the voluminous practice exams you require of
your students. .
. . I am convinced that your self study course is the best
in
Washington
,
and considering the amount of personalized attention you
give your students, it is a bargain.
S.P.L.
Dear Ben: I
must say that your program was most helpful to me in
preparing for the [bar] examination, and from discussions
that I had with a number of out-of-state attorneys who
took other audio review courses, . . ., I do believe that
you utilize the superior methodology. Their most common
complaint was the use of an array of lecturers with
varying degrees of “listenability” and inconsistent
attention to detail as between the substantive areas being
studied. . . .
Sincerely, S.M.,

Canada
.
Ben: Wanted to
thank you and your team for all your help.
Just got my results and passed!
Considering the time pressure and schedule I was
under, I could not have done it without your course.
So much better than the standard [bar review
courses] I have taken for other state bar exams. Thanks
again!
L.P.
[This message came from an
attorney who had not taken a bar exam in 20 years.]
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: The
factors that convinced me that your review course was the
best were the [one-page] checklists and your own good
reputation. When
I took the
California
bar in 1974, it was necessary for me to create my own
checklists so that I could make sense out of the areas of
law tested; the review course that I took then was
inadequate in these respects. . . . I can assure you that
your course has made me a better attorney.
Than you for all of your help and constructive
criticism, and for the special attention.
Very truly yours. C.S.
Mr. Tesdahl: Thanks
to the folks at Tesdahl’s Bar Review!
I am now a certified
Washington
attorney. I
could not have done it without you.

Dear Ben: I
just found out that I passed the Summer 2000 Bar Exam.
I want to take this opportunity to express my
sincere appreciation for your support and excellent course
– I couldn’t have done it without you...I
am so thankful that I found your course.
I doubt [a live lecture course] would have offered
me what your course did.
The [recorded] lectures, outlines and study
schedule kept me on track and focused.
. . . Again,
thank you, thank you, and thank you.
This is a wonderful day!
With gratitude, G.L.
Ben: Feel free
to use my comments. I
am eternally grateful to your review course for assisting
me in passing the Washington Bar.
. . . As I mentioned to you before, I was sick a
good portion of my review time.
However, your course taught me exactly what was on
the bar and with extra effort the last 4 weeks, I pulled
it off. Unlike
other bar review courses I have taken for other states,
yours was succinct and to the point.
It was worth every penny.
I thank you so much. C.H.
[This
is an excerpt from a message to a potential enrollee who
was seeking information from one of our former course
graduates from
Maryland
.]
The tapes are concise, but complete. The study [schedule]
is extremely helpful. The one page [checklist] of
each subject is invaluable! The practice tests are
great and Ben’s personal critique . . . provides
valuable feedback that is painfully honest, but designed
to help you get prepared to write an answer that will get
you the most points when you take the exam for real.
Finally, and most importantly, there was not a single
issue that came up on my bar exam that had not been
covered in the [course] and that I could not discuss
thoroughly and intelligently from the bar review [course].
. . . I can’t say enough good things about his course
and I am so glad I took it rather than the other [bar
review] courses.
M.C.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: Thank
you for providing me the opportunity to take your review
course. I
really felt well prepared for the
Washington
bar [exam] and can honestly say, after taking
“another” course for the
Indiana
bar that your course is superior to the rest!
Thank you for taking the time to respond back so
quickly to submitted answers and giving advice and
constructive criticism.
I would recommend your course to any applicant in a
heartbeat. God’s
blessing to you always.
Sincerely, N.H.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl and family:
Thank you so much for all of your help.
Your bar review [course] was so clear and concise.
I could not have passed the bar without your help.
A.M.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: I
just wanted to take a moment and thank you for your
program. I
followed your program as exact as I could and passed on
the first try. .
. . Based on what I have seen of the other [bar review]
programs and my own successful experience, I can without a
doubt say that your program is the best one out there for
the Washington Bar Exam.
Your program is worth every penny and then some.
C.S.
[This comment was received during
the course by a law student enrollee who went on to pass
the exam.]
Dear Mr. Tesdahl:
I am enjoying your bar review course very much –
I actually look forward to your tapes and outlines because
you finally explain things that law professors never made
clear. You
even take the terror out of trying to memorize all that
stuff. I know
how much work you must have put into those [one-page exam
checklists] because I tried duplicating your checklist
style for my own [law school] finals, and found that I
didn’t have enough time to do it.
. . . I find your bar review course absolutely
outstanding. I
wish I had studied your exam writing [technique] before
starting law school. You
have finally shown me how to really write an exam, and how
to study for it as well.
L.M.,

Dear Ben: After
studying and taking the bar [exam], I found out that had I
used the typical bar review courses, I probably wouldn’t
have made it. The
lack of organization and massive amount of information
seems to make the other courses more difficult to complete
and learn from. I
feel that your course provided just the right amount of
information needed to pass the exam. . . . I appreciate
your dedication to helping people like myself pass the
exam.
J.O.C.
Dear Ben: Your
bar review program was ideal for me as I prepared for the
bar this summer. The
fact that I was studying on my own allowed me a greater
degree of flexibility in my daily schedule and allowed me
to avoid the group-anxiety problem my friends had with
other programs. The
[recorded lectures] were concise. The real strength of
this program, however, is the one-page [checklists].
They coherently organized the information we needed
to know and didn’t waste my time with all of the
irrelevant minutia that I didn’t need to know.
Thank you again for putting together a great
program!
Sincerely, V.S.; U of

Hello Ben: . .
. I knew that if I relaxed and put my complete trust in
your program and methods, I would pass the Washington Bar
Exam. I cannot
say enough of how your course, advice and encouragement
made the difference.
Respectfully, I.I.
Mr. Tesdahl: I
got my exam results back today, and I was very happy I
passed. Your
course prepared me very well, and your checklists and
sample exams were exceptional.
Because of your course, I felt confident throughout
the test. Thank
you for all of your time, effort and hard work.
I wouldn’t hesitate to whole-heartedly recommend
your services. Thank
you very much.
J.N.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl:
I really don’t know how to express my gratitude
towards you for helping me pass the WA bar exam.
I was really frustrated after two attempts at the
bar exam [in another state] by taking the other “phone
book style” [bar review] course.
Your one-page checklist method really works.
Most importantly, I felt I had an “ally”
throughout the preparation for the “bar battle.”
M.H.C.
Ben: I am
basking in the success of passing the bar exam the first
time around, and I jut have to tell you that I simply
could NOT have done it without your program.
I had a rocky start, but I tried really hard to do
everything you said to do, even tough it sometimes went
against my nature and my entrenched bad habits from law
school.. By
the time of the test, I had a solid approach . . . for
every subject. It
made ALL the difference.
. . . The writing program was key as well.
I was so comfortable with the question format by
the time of the exam.
I had to keep reminding myself that this [exam] was
the for real. I
will recommend your program to anyone I know who will be
taking the bar exam – it was the best investment of
money and time I could have chosen.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your
lectures, your checklists, your writing program, and your
vast knowledge of the test.
I still can’t believe it’s over.
Sincerely, J.M.
Dear Ben: I
recently got my bar exam results, and I was successful.
I wanted to thank you personally for all that you
have done for me, and for your course.
Thanks so much.
I felt extremely confident during the test.
Your methods are wonderful!
D.B.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: I
just received the formal documents from the Washington
State Bar confirming that I passed!
Thank you for your commitment to excellence and for
developing such a rigorous preparation program.
I wish I had considered some of your techniques
while in law school!
I am sure that I scored extraordinarily well
because of the solid plan of attack I had prepared for
virtually every question...Again, thanks very much and a
special thanks to everyone on your team for the prompt
customer service along the way.
Sincerely, S.B.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: I
just passed the Washington State Bar Exam on the first
try! Your bar
preparation course is outstanding!
. . . I am recommending your course to anyone
planning to take the
Washington
exam. You
provide an excellent service, and I believe your course is
the best!
T.D.
Ben: Great
program! I
honestly wouldn’t change a thing – very clear and
concise, and it gave me a lot of confidence.
. . . Honestly,
I couldn’t see how anyone else would go with another
program.
B.H.
Ben: Damn
you – why do you only instruct for the
Washington
bar? I knew I
was lucky last winter when I was taking the bar exam for
Washington
under your tutelage. At
least I thought I knew.
I had all my friends complaining about their bar
exam prep courses that they were taking and I had my nice
and neat, carefully organized and succinct study materials
for which all I had to do was follow my daily prescribed
routine. But
I now have the opportunity to find out just how lucky I
was. I took
the
Washington
bar exam last year [with your course] and passed and I’d
venture to guess with flying colors.
. . . Alas,
I’m taking a bar exam [in another state] and since I
couldn’t use your expert materials, I was stuck using
one of the common providers.
Oh what a mistake.
. . . You
had the one-page [checklists], and nice and succinct
outlines for each subject.
Now I’m dealing with what they call their
outlines – ha, what a joke – how is a 130-page outline
supposed to be useful for the exam?
And that is only my criminal law section.
It’s absurd.
. . . No
wonder everybody tells me that they need to put 3 times as
much effort into these programs than originally expected.
I’m going to be forced to chop through the
materials to condense and condense . . . .
All I can say is that I was so glad I went through
your program. I
have even more appreciation for the work and effort you
put into your materials and techniques to save me all of
that extra burden that I am dealing with now.
Thank you. N.F.
Mr. Tesdahl: I
just wanted to thank you for your truly outstanding
program. I
don’t think I would have passed the bar if not for your
program. You
have a confidence that rubbed off on me and helped me stay
focused and confident to believe I could pass.
Also, you truly have broken everything down to what
is necessary to pass the bar.
I am amazed, especially after talking to those who
used [another review course] and what they had to go
through. Your
program is efficient, well planned, and focused on what is
necessary to pass. All
in all, a truly great program that I will recommend to
everyone I know.
B.H.
Ben: I wanted
to thank you for putting together such a great course, and
I will definitely tell my friends who are still in law
school and who plan to take the Washington bar exam that
they should STRONGLY consider taking [your course].
It was extremely helpful that the material was
honed down so that only the most important material was
presented. When
I compared [your outlines] with what others had to study
[in other review courses], I knew I would have been in
trouble had I gone that route.
. . .
C.H.
Ben: I
want to thank you for your review program.
I believe it was the single most significant factor
in my successfully passing the bar exam.
E.B.
Dear Tesdahl’s Bar Review:
I am extremely happy to report that I passed on my
first attempt. Please
pass on to Mr. Tesdahl that I will strongly recommend his
bar review program to others, especially those who are
working full-time or are out-of-state (my situation in
both cases). The
“Concise and Convenient” description [on your website]
should be complemented with, “and therefore extremely
effective.” I
was never at a loss for spotting issues and systematically
analyzing them, nor was I ever distracted by legal
minutia. Tesdahl’s
Bar Review kept me on-track throughout the exam.
T.Y.
Mr. Tesdahl: I
just received my bar results toady, and thanks to you I
passed!! The
course was set up just right for the way I study and
learn, and I know that had I taken any other course I
would likely not have passed.
It was a pleasure to learn
Washington
law from you, and I will recommend your course to every
person taking the
Washington
bar in the future. I’m
sure you get emails like this all the time so this is
nothing new, but I truly appreciate you letting me into
your course [late].
That decision will have a great impact on the rest
of my life, and I will always be grateful to you.
Best of luck to you in the future, and I know I
speak for the rest of us who took your course when I say
that you are a true professional and a great teacher.
C.S..
[This message was sent by an
enrollee shortly after he received his first evaluation
from Mr. Tesdahl of a practice answer written during our
writing program.]
Dear Mr. Tesdahl:
I cannot thank you enough for the IN-DEPTH analysis
and feedback you provide.
Such feedback in invaluable to me.
[A previous
Washington
review course I took] only gave me a couple of words on
their feedback form (rule, more analysis, etc), and that
was it. Again,
I cannot thank you enough for your depth and thorough
analysis of my answer. . . . I wish you well and send tons
of gratitude for your exemplary service.
C.W.
Mr. Tesdahl: Sorry
not to report until now . . . I have passed the bar exam!
. . . Please allow me to take this opportunity to
thank you for your unique and superior methods in
preparation for the Washington Bar Exam. As you may
remember, I attended law school in
Nebraska
and was licensed and practiced in
Virginia
before moving to
Eastern Washington
.
Your course made the transition as smooth as
possible and I think you!
Sincerely, J.H.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl:
I have been wanting to write this letter to you
since the day the bar exam ended.
I wanted to make sure that I passed to lend
credence to my praise of your course.
When I walked into the bar exam the first day,
people all around me were cramming and completely nervous.
I felt, if not exactly relaxed, very well prepared.
That feeling and my confidence only grew as I
completed the first session, and then the first day, and
then the next day. I
knew exactly what to expect from the questions, the
one-page checklists [from your course] were solid in my
mind, and nothing threw me off course. . . . There was no
hesitation or anxiety.
I cannot thank you enough.
I followed your course as you recommended.
It was a great deal of work, but I was so prepared.
I did not feel the need to cram or panic, and for
that I thank you very much.
I will recommend your course to anyone.
I really feel the concise information and
checklists were excellent.
Your feedback was crucial to honing my writing
skills. That
you for helping me pass this critical test.
S.H.
Mr. Tesdahl:
I don’t know if you remember me but you helped me
pass the Washington State Bar Exam the first time around
way back in 1998. Since
then I have come to realize how fortunate I was to have
had your assistance.
I’ve never heard of a better course, self study
or otherwise, since then.
In fact, I’m now taking the bar exam [in another
state] and I find the exorbitant price of [the available
review courses] to be absolutely ludicrous given the
quality of their course compared to yours.
Thanks again for helping me pass the bar without
having previously known anything about
Washington
law (I went to school in
Kentucky
and
Japan
).
The fact that you are still around, doing better
than ever, with the same people staffing your office now
that were there in 1998 is a real testament to the fact
that you are truly the BEST bar review course around!!!
S.P. |
Dear Mr. Tesdahl:
Dare I say it . . . the exam was a piece of cake!
Every one of my friends [who used other bar review
courses] thought the second day was brutal and the
questions “from far left field,” but I breezed right
through it. I
am convinced that they spent time on non-bar tested
substantive law, while I simply focused on your outlines.
THANK YOU! THANK
YOU! During my
review, I did go back and reproduce your [one-page exam
checklists] for every subject each day.
Boy did it help!
I didn’t even have to think during the exam –
my pen just flowed with every rule the issues asked for.
I left the exam feeling calm about my performance.
. . . When
I initially read your student “references” when
considering taking your course, they sounded so gushy that
I really felt a bit suspect about your course.
I understand now!
I will be insufferably effusive about it myself!
Best wishes, L.O., Univ. of Washington Law School.
Mr. Tesdahl: I
am sure that today you are bombarded with e-mails from
eternally grateful people, and I’d like to add one more
message. THANK
YOU for providing such a wonderful bar review course!
While studying for the exam was stressful and far
from pleasant, your course made the process 1000 times
easier. The
one- page checklists, outlines and practice tests were
KEY. I am certain that they are the reasons why I passed
the exam. I
felt very confident going into the exam.
And at the end of each exam day, I felt even more
confident after talking to others who did not take your
course. A lot
of people complained about how their prep course did
nothing to prepare them and how they were blown away by
several of the questions.
I maintained a pretty good poker face, but inside I
kept thinking “thank goodness for Tesdahl!”
I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s true!. . . .
Thank you.
M.M., University of
Oregon
Law
School
.
Mr. Tesdahl: I
think that your course is the BEST, and I want other
people to save the time, money and peace of mind that I
lost by initially taking [a live-lecture review course].
As always, keep up the good work, and thank you for
helping me pass the bar exam!
Sincerely,
A.S., U. of
Washington

.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl:
I just received the letter informing me I passed
the bar. I
know many people who took [other bar review courses] and I
believe your program far surpasses them.
Your one-page [checklists] are an invaluable tool.
I will recommend your study course without
reservation to all the graduating students I know.
T.M., U. of
Oregon
Law
School
.
[This was received during the
course from an enrollee.] Dear Ben:
I want to let you know how pleased I am to have
enrolled in your course.
So far the material is far superior to any other
bar review material I have utilized.
It is clear, concise, and user friendly.
E.E.
Mr. Tesdahl: THANK
YOU!!! I just
got my results and I passed.
I cannot say enough about your course.
When I was taking the exam I felt confident and
poised when everyone else around me was shaking.
Since the exam, I have told several people about
Tesdahl’s Bar Review in glowing terms.
Please know that you are doing great work.
You really helped me.
. . . Thanks again!!!
L.H.
Ben: Your
ability to go to the very heart of each topic and to
present the essence of that topic in a clear and
intelligible manner is what makes your program so
successful. Also,
I could tell in your voice on each [recorded lecture] that
you really cared about each of your students.
It seemed as if you were talking to me personally;
offering encouragement to succeed.
. . . Again, thank you very much and good fortune
to you in the future.
D.D.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: The
news is out and I passed the bar.
My very dear friend . . . who recommended your
course passed as well.
We shouted in joy together.
Thank you for your hard work and succinct course
review. You
gave me just the right amount of review information I
needed to pass. I
learned from friends who took other courses that they were
overwhelmed with the voluminous material they had to
review. I put
in the hours and completed the work just as you
recommended, and now I have the results I wanted.
This is a very happy day for my husband, my
children and me.
Thank you so very much.
J.W.; University of
Washington
Law
School
.
Mr. Tesdahl: You
definitely went the extra mile with regard to the
preparation of your materials and your follow-thru with
questions I had. (I
had an opportunity to look at another bar review
course’s materials.
Theirs may have provided the pieces, but they
didn’t pull them together like you did with your
organizational frameworks and one-page checklists. With
your help, I can see the trees and the forest.
Feel free to use me as a reference for future
students.
You have definitely earned it!
J.E.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl:
It was a pleasure to work with such concise
outlines, and [they] definitely made studying for this
exam much simpler.
Thank you.
R.N.
Hi Ben:
I passed the July bar [exam] and wanted to say
thanks.
I didn’t want to be too cocky before the I knew
the results, but after spending the summer working through
the . . . writing program, there was nothing on that exam
that was unfamiliar or even especially daunting.
. . .
Your course made me glad I didn’t waste precious
hours of my life in a bunch of stultifying UCC courses in
law school.
After the exam, I looked through a friend’s [bar
review] course materials.
It was clear that your pride in your course is more
than justified.
And it was a pleasure to deal with you purely in
terms of logistics.
H.G.
[This
comment came from an enrollee who had initially failed the
bar exam using another review course and then took
Tesdahl’s Bar Review and passed.]
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: Thanks for a great course.
Your course deserves an unusual compliment in that I did
not find [studying the law] at all boring the second time
around. I think that says a lot about the format and
content of your course. . . . Thanks for helping me
so much in my career. I have given out several
recommendations about your course this past year to law
students I have met.
Thanks again, J.F.
Dear Ben: I
just wanted to write to thank you for such an excellent
course. I
couldn’t recommend it enough over other bar exam
courses. . . . It’s indeed the very best
Washington
State
bar examination course that stands out over all!
Thanks a million!
R.L.;

.
[This testimonial is from a
person who failed twice using another course and passed
using Tesdahl’s.] Ben:
I passed the bar exam and I can’t thank you
enough. This
was my third and final attempt.
I was committed to walking away from the profession
if I did not pass. . . . I studied with [a live-lecture
program] the first two times and never really felt
prepared for the exam.
What’s strange about the experience this time
around was that I studied considerably less for your
course than I did for both times I took [the other
course]. There
was actually less information to learn.
I was skeptical at first, but it seemed to work as
I began to take practice exams.
In the end, I felt relatively fresh entering the
exam, unlike with [the other course] where I was mentally
and emotionally drained before, during and after the test
with nothing to show for my effort.
. . . During
[the live-lecture] course, I constantly felt scattered.
I had all this information in my head but I
couldn’t put it together in a coherent fashion.
Your course had me focused from start to finish.
I knew exactly where I was supposed to be in my
studies and exactly what I was supposed to know at each
point. Half-way
through your course, I knew I would pass this exam.
. . .
Sincerely, M.H.
[This statement of gratitude came from an enrollee
a few weeks after starting the course. He went on to
pass the
Washington
bar exam on the first try.]
Ben: I am very
grateful for your course.
While I did well in law school and passed the
California Bar Exam on the first attempt, that was 9 ½
years ago with no kinds and no job.
When I decided to sit for the Washington Bar, I was
concerned I would not succeed on the first attempt because
when I studied for the California exam, I spent an
enormous amount of time taking the materials from the bar
review course and reducing that material into a format I
could memorize. Now,
being a practicing attorney and father of 2 small
children, I could not imagine how I would be able to
prepare adequately. However,
even though I have just finished the first subject area of
your course, I am confident I will have enough time to
prepare for the pass the
Washington
exam on the first attempt.
While I must work hard to learn the law and the
strategies for writing the exam, your concise course is
allowing me to do this in the time I have to prepare.
Thank you very much!
S.A.
Ben: I just
wanted to send an e-mail and say thank you for helping me
pass the bar exam on my first try.
I especially wanted to thank you for the anti-panic
devices [used in] your study program.
. . . I spoke with many attorneys who had taken
your course before I had decided to take it.
Everyone I talked to had nothing but great things
to say, and each one passed on the first try.
Thanks so much for your help.
S.A.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: I
can hardly believe it.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for getting me through the bar
exam on the first try!
I have already started recommending Tesdahl’s Bar
Review to friends and colleagues who used another bar prep
course and were unsuccessful on the first try.
Thank you again, N.H.
Hi Ben: I’m
sure you already know I passed the bar exam.
Hooray!!!
I wanted to drop you a line and let you know that .
. . I have nicknamed you the taskmaster (in the most
loving way possible!)
Truth be told, I needed the structure your course
provided. I
stuck with the [study] schedule and never got behind.
. . . I
was so grateful to have some peace of mind knowing that I
took all that painstaking time to memorize those
checklists [in your course].
I could close my eyes and see them during the exam!
. .
Have a great day!
S.N.
Woo hoo! I
passed the bar exam. Thank
you SO much Tesdahl’s Bar Review!
K.S.
Dear Ben: Words
simply cannot express my appreciation for you and for your
superior knowledge of the law, which far surpasses the
legal education I received during my three-year classroom
experience. You
are amazing, and the services that you offer are
undoubtedly “the BEST!”
Sincerely, K.N.
Mr. Tesdahl: I
passed. Thanks
for all the hard work you have put into your study
materials. I
felt much more prepared this time, unlike I felt using
[another
Washington
review course the previous time].
Take care, C.B.
Mr. Tesdahl: I
just saw my name on the pass list, and I know that I could
not have passed without your wonderful materials.
Your materials are perfect for those of us that
have to study for the bar and still “deal with life”
during those months.
I [initially] doubted that your materials would
cover enough [information], as I had previously gone
through [another bar review course] for the
California
bar and was used to 50 pounds of materials.
However, your materials are concise and let us know
only what we need to know to pass.
I appreciate your candor and detailed assessment of
the [practice answers] handed in.
Best to you and your team!
C.U.
Mr. Tesdahl: Well,
I bet you have been overwhelmed with e-mails these past
few days from grateful students who passed the July bar
exam. Add me
to that stack! .
. . I will not hesitate in recommending your study course
to future applicants to the bar.
It is the best course on the market today, hands
down. Thank
you for putting out such a concise and result-oriented
product. I
really don’t think I would have been successful on my
first try without your course.
Very truly yours, L.M.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: Thank
you for our course. I
walked into the exam knowing I would pass and I did just
that. Your wise instruction gave me the skills to pass the
exam and your words of encouragement gave me the belief
that I could do it. The
work you do, as you well know through the many
testimonials you receive, is of great value to many.
I am one of the many and I sincerely thank you for
what was imparted to me through your course.
With gratitude, T.T.
Mr. Tesdahl: I
passed the winter bar on the first try.
Just wanted to thank you for keeping everything
simple and providing methods and plans for attacking a
test that has the potential to make any normal person
crack. .
. . Thanks again for keeping it simple.
P.G.
Hi Mr. Tesdahl: I
just wanted to let you know that I passed the bar exam and
have to give you just about all the credit.
(I have to leave some room in there for my wife who
had to endure my periodic bar-prep delirium).
I had to work full-time during a good portion of
your program, but I was still able to go into the exam
full of confidence, knowing that I would pass.
Quite a few of my fellow classmates who took other
bar prep programs seemed really stressed out and
unfortunately a disproportionate number of them did not
pass. However,
everyone I know who participated in your program passed.
You guys are the best!
Sincerely, T.M.
Dear Ben: Your
concise materials and 1-page checklists provided me a lot
of comfort and confidence, especially when I saw hundreds
of students at the exam with mountains of unnecessary
materials and in a state of panic!
S.L.
Dear Tesdahl’s Bar Review:
I thought that I would write a letter to let you
know how great your program is.
I took your bar review course for the
Washington
State
summer 2003 exam and passed on my first try.
Subsequently, I took the
California
bar exam, which I had previously taken 4 times and failed
to pass. I
applied the same techniques that I learned from [your
course] to the
California
bar exam and it worked out great and I finally passed.
I believe that your techniques and advice for
taking the bar are the best out there.
. . . I’ve taken four bar review courses in my
quest to pass the
California
bar and the
Washington
bar, and I can honestly say that your program is the best
of them. This
is actually one of the very few times I ever felt the need
to write a letter recommending anyone’s services.
But I think it is important that bar applicants
have the benefit of hearing from real people who have gone
through this ordeal.
Very truly yours,
A.P.
Mr. Tesdahl and Staff:
Thank you for all of your help!
I really think that the combination of the
condensed outlines, 1-page checklists and essay practice
questions was the key to my success on the
Washington
bar exam. I
have taken [another course] for the bar exam [in another
state] . . . and
was really disappointed with the guidance and overwhelmed
with the eight or so huge books they gave us.
I knew I’d never get through them all, and that
was a feeling of defeat from the very beginning.
C.J.
Ben: Just
wanted to drop a line thanking you for your bar review
course. I know
I would not have passed taking any other course due to the
overwhelming detail the others expect you to regurgitate
during the exam -- as if you have the time for such
detail!
S.G.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: Your
course certainly did help [me pass the exam] – and in
more ways than one. First,
you covered all the material on the exam, while I heard
other students [in other courses] say they hadn’t been
well prepared on some issues.
Second, in many subjects . . . your practice
questions were a degree more complex than the exam
questions, so answering the exam questions was a
comparative breeze. .
. . Thanks again. K.S.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: Now
that the results are out, I just wanted to write and thank
you again. You
may recall that last spring, as I was preparing to choose
a bar review course, I wrote to you explaining my
situation (new baby plus impending trip to
Europe
).
I very much appreciated your very thoughtful
responses to my questions.
. . . This is possibly the only time in my life
that I felt optimally prepared as opposed to over-
or under-prepared.
[My new baby] has you to thank for his college
savings account. Your
course was truly excellent.
I can’t recommend it enough.
T.N.B.
Dear Mr. Tesdahl: What
can I say. Your
procedure and methodology have made me a very happy
person. I just received my congratulatory letter from the
WSBA and I have to attribute my passing grade to you.
The last time I took the test three years ago
[using another course] I missed passing by 1.5 points.
I have to say that going in, during and after the
examination I felt much more confident that I had during
my previous time. I
wasn’t even fazed by the dreaded Secured Transactions
and Commercial Paper questions.
Thank you once again for making it possible for me
to pass. D.W.
Dear Ben:
I just received notice from the WSBA that I passed
the [
Washington
] bar exam.
I want to thank you very much for your great bar
review course. Your
materials are really outstanding; so concise and right to
the point. It
saved me a huge amount of time.
I will have no hesitation to recommend you to
anyone who will take the
Washington
bar exam.
Finally, I can get my life back after 4 tough years
working during the days and going to law school in the
evenings, and having two kids born during the law school
years. Your
great review course helped me end those 4 years with a big
relief. Many
thanks.
