NOTE:   Our ethics lecture is provided on a compact disk in a compressed “MP3 format.”   

It should play on any computer with a CD drive and on many newer compact CD players,

but it will not play on older compact CD players or on car stereos.  If you do not have a

suitable CD player, we can provide one for an additional $30 refundable security deposit.

ETHICS ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT

 

DEFINITIONS:  The term "Applicant" as used in this agreement refers to the specific Tesdahl's Bar Review applicant whose signature appears on the enrollment form above.  "Enrollment" is deemed to occur when Tesdahl's Bar Review has received a signed enrollment agreement and full payment for all applicable fees. "Full payment" occurs on the date when a cashier's check or money order is received by Tesdahl's Bar Review, or when a personal check has been honored or credit card payment has been confirmed by the applicable bank.

SHIPPING:  The course includes free regular shipping of course materials within the continental United States .  Regular shipping is normally by UPS Ground or Express Mail (at our option) and occurs within five business days after Enrollment.  Rush shipping and shipping outside of the continental U.S. require the payment of the full amount of the actual shipping fees we incur, which must be paid in advance by credit card.

TUITION REFUND POLICY: After full payment is made, course tuition, MINUS A $20.00 PROCESSING AND HANDLING FEE, is refundable only if: (a) written notice of withdrawal from the course is received by Tesdahl's Bar Review within 3 days after course materials are received by Applicant; and (b) course materials are promptly returned at Applicant’s expense undamaged and unused.  After the 3-day period specified above, tuition is not refundable for any reason, including a decision by an Applicant to not take the Washington Bar Exam.  However, Applicant’s withdrawing from the exam and switching to the next session of the bar exam may pay an administrative fee of $20 to “hold over” in the course and receive any updated materials for that next bar exam session (see “Withdrawal from the Exam” below).

DEPOSIT REFUND POLICY: All Applicants must pay a refundable materials security deposit, which we may commingle with our general funds.  The security deposit is fully refundable if all course materials are returned on time. All course materials must be returned at Applicant's expense within 15 days after completion of the bar exam; otherwise  a deduction of $5 per day thereafter is made from the materials deposit.  Applicants forfeit their materials security deposit and may be subject to legal action for damages if course materials are copied or shared with anyone.   Applicants may not keep course materials in return for forfeiting their security deposit.  We reserve the right to commence legal action if course materials are not returned.

APPEAL ASSISTANCE:  All course enrollees who have been determined by the WSBA to be eligible to appeal their professional responsibility bar exam score will receive free exam appeal assistance from Mr. Tesdahl.

LOST OR DAMAGED MATERIALS:  Applicants will be charged special duplication, shipping and handling fees to replace lost or intentionally damaged materials during the course.  

WITHDRAWAL FROM THE EXAM:  Tesdahl's Bar Review reserves the right to charge an additional fee to cover our administrative expenses of sending updated materials to Applicants who enroll in the course in preparation for a particular session of the Washington bar exam, subsequently withdraw from that session of the bar exam, and reapply to the Washington State Bar Association to sit for the next session of the bar exam.
